Working experience and occupation	he has a total of 40 years of experience in housing industry. His initiation into construction was in Indonesia when he started working in a civil construction firm after completing high school in 1971. In 1971, he pursued in education in Canada. He started his engineering career in Johor Bahru in 1979 and wa involved in the design and supervision of the 750-acre township of Taman Ungku Tun Aminah in Skudai and Taman Sentosa in Johor Bahru. He worked as design engineer in 1980 and he started his own Civil and Structural Engineering Consultancy Firm namely GTP Jurutera Perunding Sdn. Bhd.,in 1985. He was also involved in the design and project management of Dell Asia Pacific Sdn. Bhd., Xiamen Company Limited as well as Guangzhou Otis Elevator Co. Ltd. in Guangzhou China. Following the success of GTP Jutera Perunding Sdn. Bhd., he turned his entrepreneurship skills to focus on property development in 1992.
