| Working experience and occupation | He has more than 30 years of working experience in public sector. He started his career as a Assistant Veterinary Officer at Department of Veterinary Services, Kuala Lumpur in 1981 before joining the Administrative and Diplomatic Service of Malaysia in 1989 and first served as Assistant District Officer (Land Management) of North Seberang Perai, Butterworth, Penang. He has also served as Assistant District Officer of Southwest District and Land Office, Penang in 2001.
He was then promoted as Director of the Department of Director General of Lands and Mines Selangor, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment in year 2005. He also served as District Officer of Northern Seberang Perai District in year 2007 and then promoted as the President of Seberang Perai Municipal Council in year 2009. In year 2011, he was promoted as the Penang State Financial Officer and subsequently retired in year 2016. |
